A hot tub is rarely the only thing happening in a backyard. It needs something level to stand on, a yard worth walking into, and occasionally a plumber. These are the companies we work alongside on the rest of it.

Denver Concrete

The pad under the spa

Denver Concrete

Concrete and flatwork · Denver and the Front Range

Every hot tub needs something flat, level and rated to hold it, and that is a poured slab far more often than people expect. A filled six-person spa with people in it runs to several thousand pounds concentrated over a small footprint, which is more than an old patio or a bed of paving slabs laid on soil will carry for long. Denver Concrete pours driveways, patios, foundations and flatwork across the Front Range, and hot tub pads are a listed part of what they do rather than something they take on reluctantly. They also handle the surrounding work that tends to come with a spa - walkways and steps so the route out there is safe in February, pergola footings if the plan is to cover it, and mudjacking when an existing slab has already moved.

Colorado Dreamscapes

Everything around it

Colorado Dreamscapes

Landscape design and build · Denver metro

A spa dropped into the middle of a lawn looks like a spa dropped into the middle of a lawn. What makes it feel like part of the house is the work around it: the hardscaping it sits on, a screen or planting that takes the worst of the wind, and lighting that makes the walk out there appealing rather than a dash. Colorado Dreamscapes designs and builds that kind of outdoor space across the Denver metro - patios and hardscaping, stamped concrete, water features, decks and pergolas, retaining walls, tree installation and outdoor lighting. If you are planning a spa as part of a larger backyard rather than as a single purchase, it is a much cheaper conversation to have before the pad goes in than after.

KidScapes

The rest of the backyard

KidScapes

Family backyards and play · Colorado

A family hot tub is usually one part of a bigger idea, which is making the backyard somewhere everybody actually wants to be. KidScapes builds the other parts: playgrounds, splash pads and play creeks, sports courts and putting greens, treehouses and climbing, turf and shade, and the fire pits and pavilions that get the adults out there too. They design around the ages of the children who will use it, which matters more than it sounds - a layout that works for a four-year-old is not the one that keeps a twelve-year-old interested. Worth talking to early if the spa is going into a yard that also has to hold everything else.

Basements 4 Less

Where the sauna usually goes

Basements 4 Less

Basement finishing · The Front Range

Most of the saunas Regency sells end up indoors, and most of those end up in a basement - it is the room with the space, the floor and the tolerance for humidity. Basements 4 Less finishes basements across the Front Range on fixed pricing and a six to eight week schedule, including the wet bars, bathrooms, gyms and theatre rooms that tend to arrive at the same time. If a sauna is part of the plan, the useful thing is to raise it while the layout is still on paper: clearance around the cabinet, the door swing, the electrical supply and how far it sits from somewhere to rinse off all get decided at framing, not afterwards.

Denver Plumbing

When it is the water, not the spa

Denver Plumbing

Plumbing and emergency call-outs · Monument to Longmont

Not every problem that looks like a hot tub problem is one. A spa that will not fill properly, a hose bib that has failed, a line that froze overnight in January, or hard Front Range water chewing through everything it touches are all plumbing questions rather than spa questions, and Regency Care will tell you so rather than charging you to find out. Denver Plumbing covers thirty Front Range cities from Monument to Longmont for drains, water heaters, sewer lines, repiping, water filtration and emergency call-outs. Filtration is the one worth knowing about if you are tired of fighting calcium every time you refill.

Golf Simulators For Less

For the six months of weather

Golf Simulators For Less

Golf simulator builds · Nationwide, including Colorado

A hot tub and a golf simulator get bought for the same reason, which is wanting somewhere good to be when it is dark at half four and nobody is driving anywhere. Golf Simulators For Less builds and installs residential and commercial bays measured to the room you actually have rather than to a catalogue diagram - basements, garages, outbuildings, spare rooms and home gyms, plus commercial installs for clubs, hotels and bars. Ceiling height is almost always the constraint people discover last, so it is worth measuring before falling for a package.

Planning more than a spa

Tell us what else is going in.

If the hot tub is one part of a bigger backyard, say so when you enquire. Knowing the pad, the landscaping or the basement is already being planned changes what we recommend, and the order things should happen in.
