Sizing it properly
How many seats does your house actually need?
Seat counts are what the shell can hold, not a recommendation. Here is how they tend to play out in real families. Manufacturer specifications set the limits; this is just what we see.
2 - 3 seats
Two adults, occasionally a third person. Gets used the most often of any size, because there is the least standing between you and getting in.
4 - 5 seats
A family of four with a seat to spare. The point where a proper pad and a 240-volt circuit usually enter the conversation.
6 - 7 seats
The Aurora middle. A full household plus whoever came home with the kids, without anyone perching on a corner.
8 or more
You are buying for gatherings rather than for Tuesday. Worth it if that is genuinely how you live, and worth checking your gate before anything else.

We cannot promise it. There is a decent chance.
The families who get the most out of a spa tend to treat it as a place rather than an appliance. Twenty minutes after dinner. The first snow of the year, watched from the water. Somebody’s birthday. A ridiculous argument about a trivia question nobody can look up because the phones are inside.
It also turns out to be one of the few places a teenager will talk to you, largely because there is nothing else to do and nowhere else to look.
Using one with children
The rules worth being boring about.
- An adult present the whole time, every time. Not nearby — present.
- Cooler water than an adult soak, and shorter sessions. Your manufacturer guidance sets the numbers, and we will go through them with you.
- Hot tubs are not suitable for infants or for unsupervised young children, at any temperature.
- Cover locked and latched whenever it is not in use. This is the single most important thing on this list.
- No glass anywhere near the water, and nothing electrical.
- No alcohol while soaking. Heat and alcohol do not combine well.
- Everyone gets out when they have had enough, and nobody talks them back in.

What size do we need for a family of four?
Most families of four end up happiest in a five or six seat spa rather than a four. A four seats everyone but leaves nobody a spare seat, and the footprint difference is often only a few inches. Come and sit in both.
Is a hot tub safe for our kids?
With supervision, cooler water and shorter sessions, older children use spas safely. It comes down to an adult being present every time, following the manufacturer guidance on temperature and age, and keeping the cover locked when it is not in use. Never for infants, and never unsupervised.
Do you deliver to Southeast Aurora and Saddle Rock?
Yes, and across the rest of the city. The newer neighbourhoods out that way generally have good access, which keeps delivery straightforward.
Can you take away our old spa on the same day?
How cold does it get before it stops being worth it?
It does not. Regionally, first measurable snow arrives in the second half of October — the long-term National Weather Service benchmark for the Denver metro is around 18 October. That is the start of the good half of the year for a hot tub, not the end of it.
